Finally got around to filming a tour of our first house in Tacoma, WA. We purchased it on June 3, 2020. I talk through some projects we’d like to do and share some WIP decor mood boards. Threw in a quick surf at the end just for fun.

This is a new song by Seattle-based band, Citizens that I’ve done my own arrangement of—dialing up the melancholy, of course. Did a few twirls for a video as well. It’s such a beautiful song that I couldn’t resist the invitation to participate.
In 2017, we took a family trip to the beaches of North Carolina. I cut together some footage shot on my iPhone to create this short. This video was colored with VSCO. Music by CFCF.
Made a quick little video of our meet up with the attendees of Sunday morning Lake Washington Cars and Coffee. We bought this little car in January and drove it up from LA. Being a California car for life, some things had never been tested but thankfully the engine was in top shape. Seeing as it rained all three days of our drive up through California, we gave the windshield wipers a hard workout, found out the heater cables were disconnected, and discovered some seals were missing as evidenced by the pools of water collecting under our seats. But we survived, miraculously frostbite free.
Read MoreIt is crazy how you forget the magic a year held. Looking back, I see such an abundance of incredible moments that, at the time, didn’t feel as special as they look now. I’d like to work on observing and being thankful for what’s happening right in front of me but even if that isn’t entirely possible, an exercise such as this brings so much joy! Maybe I’ll do it again sometime but this year, I’m going to try to just live it.
